Galveston Beach Souvenirs

Galveston, Texas....1996. I loved spending weekends on the beach and bicycling around Galveston Island with my Mamiya C220 . I spent a summer working in Houston that year. Some great memories. As you can probably see, this negative was damaged by the "professional" photo lab which processed my film that summer. It's still one of my favorite photos.

As hurricane Ike approaches.....it's not looking good for Galveston. I sure like that town. I hope they survive without too much damage. Someday, I WILL get back there for another walkabout town.
