Fulton Fishmarket Worker-unToned

From a series depicting the now vanished Fulton Fish market in lower Manhattan..

I'm trying to decide on using toned or non-toned images..may even try lith before I'm through.

Please let me know what you think works better with the image, subject matter, etc.

Thanks

Hi Vic,
Personally I think that untoned works better on these type of images, even cooltone. The two social documentary shots you have posted are quite gritty and punchy and IMHO carry this effect better when printed untoned.
Others will, no doubt disagree and you will clearly have to weigh up the pros and cons.
Don't know if this is of any help.

John

This is very helpful and seems to be in line with other opinions.
I find apug is indespensible for getting this kind of eye opening, muddle clearing feedback and I really appreciate it.
