Fujisan from Chureito Pagoda

Woke up at 5am to catch the sunrise and it was def worth it! This is a famous location from which you can also get the pagoda and Fuji in the same photo, but I didn't have anything wide enough with me to make it work. I did have a 150mm with me though! (and a bad batch of Tmax 400 with bad paper!)

Well, other than being too damn big, this really enthralls. The 'centering' was a wise decision, even though most photographs benefit from the main subject being somewhat 'off center'. The black surround forces the eye to delve into the main subject but ... am I simply being naive here? Where is the Pagoda? I am lost (or it lost me). Hark, Chureito, speak unto me!!! - David Lyga

@David Lyga I mentioned in the description, but I didn’t have anything wide enough to fit the pagoda in a satisfactory way in the frame. If you google the pagoda name you’ll see what I mean. So I abandoned that and put the 150mm to work
 
Stunning photo Hekoru, but would like to see a little more detail around the base of the mountain.
