Frozen Landscape & Lighthouse

Was at the beach yesterday shortly after sunset. The windchill was blowing very hard and the windchill was painfully cold. The lake was frozen solid all the way to the end of the pier in the distance.

Nice shot. I know what that feels like. I usually lose the ability to move my fingers. It gets so cold when the sun goes down. I'm headed back to the frozen mitten this weekend just for stuff like this. Keep up the good work.

I love the remoteness of this series. For all of the linear precision of you work the softer intangibles are not lost. Outstanding work.

great image John. The composition is beautiful and tight. After being frostbitten in Minnesota Just the thought of taking this shot sends chills through me .

Boy John, you've got quite a high tolerance for the cold. I'm surprised the camera wasn't shaking while you were stomping around trying to keep warm.
All the best,
Daniel
