Frosted pine needles

We had a strange New Year's thaw that was preceded by some hoar frost so of course I had to take some pictures.

Taken without extension tubes as I don't have any yet. Using the 65mm lens, the shortest one I had, for close up work was interesting as I was able to include much of the background which in this case is more trees.

Also taken hand held since my dog was in the yard and he enjoys knocking over tripods.

The white streaks are due to some black goo from the deteriorated light seals in the 120 back. I have since cleaned it... and got myself a replacement seal kit.

Neg scan for now, don't have a 6x7 enlarger yet :-(
