I must comment again on this image. So many praises here are heaped upon "arty" presentations: rocks, trees, "landscape", nudes (usually female, perhaps "figure studies") or some montage of such, "portraits" of some form or other; maybe "an unusual angle" of some building or even some out of focus "somethings" that are supposed to "represent" "reality" in a particular way. I supose each may serve a purpose of some form or other, usually lost on me. But when presented with what seems a real situation then few wish to comment.
Thanks again for posting.

John
Thanks for the comments. I think photography not so much as art but as a tool, reporting what I've seen and where I've been and who I've met ---the more bizarre the better. It's a pretty weird world if you just get out of your damn car and walk around into places you would not normally go. I appreciate a good landscape shot, and a lot of the APUGers are incredible craftsmen, with enormous skill and technique that I just haven't got, but that just isn't me (though I reserve the right to try it sometime.) The interesting thing to me is people; everything else is just a bunch a trees. --Stephen Kling
