Front Room

This is a very pleasing photo. Really nice lighting, and just nice to look at. But, to be honest, it's not something I would ever think to photograph, but I like this very much nonetheless.

'like the color of the light, the softness of it and I like the everyday still life compositions.

Funny, but this is the kind of scene I love to shoot but without this kind of success. Great light. Not really anything to do with the photo, but I congratulate you on the quality of the floor, with the style of the painted wood furniture and the interior paint matching the historicity of the house. The roll of film on the table top is an extra nice touch.

@pbromaghin Thanks, I was on my way out to do some work with the Hasselblad and I couldn't pass this one up. Had the tripod so why not. The light streams into this room at sunset. The floors are original Heart Pine from the 20s. All the casings are the same. The entire stand of this species was gone by the 30s.

Very, very, very pretty. The lines, the shadows, the warm light, the tones.
