From the Harley Diaries

I am working on a project featuring one particular Harley. So far I have about 20 images. This is a quick test print I made just prior to a meeting of our large format group here in Calgary.

The while blobs are from my crappy scanner. I have to get it apart and clean the underside of the glass.

It's shiny and pretty and... Nice shot! Nice print! Will we see more?

Once I get the series completed I will be uploading them to my website. This is just a tease LOL. It's certainly not the best image I have made of this bike so far but was handy. As I mentioned this print was just a quicky I did prior to a meeting. I have not done any fancy darkroom stuff to it yet. The bike is certainly shiny! This has created a whole set of issues that had to be dealt with. Not an easy subject to capture.

Thanks for the nice comments!

Heh, I can see an open garage door. I think it works though; gives some contour lines on the chrome and makes a nice accent over the big light reflection. You have to look closely to see what it is.

Superb image... They looked great on paper too. Well done.
