From the Crypt.....

Or "From the Men's room". I can't remember which.
Again, from Gloucester Cathedral.
Both of these images are full frame and were printed 11x14 inches. As I don't have a scanner capable of that size, I photographed the prints with a digital camera. The print is (as always) nicer and sharper than the "scan".

That is a wonderfully dark moody composition. This would be such a nice contender for a lith print, or even toning it. There is something about the inside of cathedrals and churches that just strikes a chord within me. I'm not a religious person, but the tradition, the heritage, the lives that came and went there. You captured that in a nice way. Fascinating.

I like both pics but this one takes the biscuit with its moody atmosphere.

Fantastic image, my favourite of the two, but both superb

That is a beauty;
great work

This is quite striking, I think I may slightly prefer the other image, but both are lovely.

Thank you all for your kind comments!
Thomas,
I agree about the lith possibilities. I'll be sure to post when I next do a Lith session.
I don't think one has to be religious to be moved by the history and grandure of these amazing buildings.
