Wow really beautiful this should be a cover for a Stephen King book. Remind me is this not part of a series you posted a long while ago inside a building ??
Ok went to your media page yes indeed this is part of it.. You are telling a very creepy story here around this old building and its very cool.
Have you thought of montaging some old historic snap shots of the people who may have lived in the area at the time the old building was vibrant.
Ghosting two images onto one sheet of film is not out of question with simple pin registration and two or more enlargers...
@Bob Carnie Thank you very much. I definitely plan to keep going with it. It's been so much fun to do something different. The original 7 photos were shot in a different house about an hour away from this one. I do not think it would be safe to enter this house with the condition it's currently in. I've been reading a little about the house and the local Historical society is pulling together some information for me on it. From the pictures I've seen and the google map satellite view of it the house must have been quite a place back in it's day.
I really like your idea of using old photos of the house and combination printing with them.
This one works for me. A bunch of elements (vignetting, fuzzy, uber contrast, grain(lith)) that rarely look good to me - come together here beautifully. I'm sure it fits w/ the other images, but it stands strong as a solo.
