not much of a critique, but
very well balanced, i like how the darkness of the right side ( fan/screen ) are carried out in the background and the same with the brightness of the left side of the background and the freon tubes.

wow!
kerik
this is something. the textures and tones are something to behold !
i can only imagine in "real life" what this must look like.
that's a great image for a fridge, I second Miles.
only one question: in my screen it looks a bit oversharpenned.
wish I had the chance to see a hard real copy of it.
jstraw... my understanding is its a wet plate collodion so its going to be a positive made in camera. hence, with a LF camera the lens flips and reverses everything so when a positive is made in camera, you get everything reversed.
oh and kerik... much more crisp and "clean" then alot of your other wet plates. Love that "uncleanness" in your previous posts... but like the sharpness on this one.
Thanks for the comments. Yes, this is a one-off, in-camera piece. You are looking at the "emulsion" side, so everything is reversed. No neg to print from, but I've been scanning these plates and making really beautiful 16x20 prints with an Epson 3800. Yeah, they're digital, so shoot me... The scan you're looking at is of the original plate.
