Friendly Eyes

I'm not usually able to photograph people, but when I saw this guy in the park, I just felt like I wanted to photograph him. The fact that he's a friend made it much easier. I asked him to take his glasses off, and the expression on his face as he looked at me... well, let's just say he made it really easy for me.

I don't usually print my images unless I think I can submit it in a show (to save paper). I also cropped in very tightly to capture the essence.

I've said this before...I'm not interested in photographing people...but i love looking at portraits...especially tightly cropped like this! Love the character lines...Great shot.

Now those are the tones I want! Bet you're not using old paper, are you? ;o) That looks really nice to me!
Sheesh! I just noticed... it's a negative scan. I'd like to see how your print looks. The neg looks really good.
