They called it Freedom Day....around 1200 anti-vaxxers up on Calton Hill in a gale, pouring rain and sleet. I couldn't believe some of the arguments but I guess this is supposed to be a democracy. Conditions were horrendous.
We have the same mentality over here! My favorite saying after the recent display of this type of unhealthy movement is, “When you let your religion or your politics runaway with your common sense, then both you and your country are in deep trouble”. That’s a quote from me!
PS. What were you doing out in that weather?
Hi John. I was surprised so many turned up in terrible weather but I suppose they are a minority. It seems perfectly sensible to me to receive vaccines to help fight the worst effects of disease but anti-vaxxers obviously think differently. I shouldn't have been out in that weather. I suffered for it. I was ill for a couple of days after the soaking. My Contax G1 got a soaking and is now completely dead.
Hope none of the princess's got their tiaras wet.
Sorry to hear the cold wet conditions got to you and your camera. My son just bought a G1 from Japan with 3 lens and a flash, he really likes it, haven't seen any pictures from it yet.
@awty I've had my G1 for 20 years, . I guess it had to expire at some point. Do I buy another one or sell on the lenses? I will decide in the new year. As for the princess's the least said about them the better I think.
