The countryside in the background suggests this was an inspiring place to shoot. The challenge (for me) is that the cross and the leaves on the right merge together so the cross is barely distiguishable. Where were you metering? It looks like a very literal intepretation of the scene.

I wonder how this would look if it took a slight departure from reality - lighten the cross so it stands out against the leaves, and possibly lighten the tree on the left towards the top of the frame. It's possible some increased contrast on the countryside would support the dodging in the foreground. Good luck!
