Four Young People

On a recent business trip to London I found myself with a couple of hours to while away between meetings so I walked to The British Museum to take in the fabulous multi-faceted glass domed ceiling over the courtyard.

Whilst shooting from the central 'tower' I looked down and noticed the interesting effect of people walking on the white floor, the intersection of lines between the paving stones and the super-imposed shadows from the glass above. I took this shot as four young people walked nicely into the frame. Over-exposing the shot by one stop produced this effect.

Good point about the shadow on the right, guys. I hadn't really noticed it on the print but on the screen it stands out like a sore thumb and is very distracting!

A very good effect. These teens look like they have somewhere important to go.
