Photographs from the Monthly Shooting Assignment thread in the forums.
These are photographed with a Minolta point & shoot 35mm camera that I got for free.
From Split Rock Light House State Park, Minnesota. Temperature was bitter cold, the lake fog in the background is a testament to it. I believe we had -26*F that morning.
Great series - this one is my favorite. I love trees anyway, and the snow is just right. As someone else said, it's not the equipment, it's how you see.
Thank you, Bruce. Sometimes it's very refreshing to use simple equipment. It removes a lot of BS from the work flow. I'm thinking I will use that camera more with time, just because it's fun.
Shawn and Brian - thanks for the kind words. The more I do this, the more I realize that it really is up to me and nothing else. No more excuses. Just do. And have a good time, right?
