Beautiful abstraction, Scott.

I got lucky on the shutter speed - the time (I want to say it was 1/30th) was fast enough to keep the image sharp where it is sharp, but long enough to capture some motion blur. But it does have a painterly feel. BTW- the strange little orange dots in the corners are reflections of Christmas lights from the little potted trees in front of the fountain. Part of the blur and softness of the fountain is also the big pane of glass through which I photographed it - because the fountain is always running, the glass is speckled with water droplets. I was on the fence about the Christmas lights at first, whether to crop them out or not, but I think they add something to the bottom and keep it from being a void space.
