Stepping a step to the right and biasing the camera to the left might have been helpful. What I am indicating is that it would have been possible, I believe, to eliminate the window in the background and give the person receiving the attention a bit of room on the left. It could also have revealed more of the dresser's hands and comb with an overall effect of what some views might consider to be substantial improvement
I am making these comments with the thought that you wished to create a document of what happens in the neighborhoods. There is no reason to consider my judgement to be better than yours.
You have seen now in two photos an advisement to position yourself with care and forethought when circumstances allow you so to do.
This writer considers impovements made prior to the time of exposure to be better by far compared to manipulation done after exposure of the negative.
