Fortress "Fort Pampus", the Netherlands

Former power station / engine room. Fortress "Fort Pampus" was one of the earliest buildings in the Netherlands to feature it's own electricity network. Since cable insulation was not yet invented (we're talking the 1870's ;-) ), soldiers risked their life's when carrying their rifles with bayonets around the fortress...
