Interestingly, the thumbnail does no justice to the full range of tonality in this photograph. As is, it's a good representation of what was there. You might consider making it a good deal more dramatic by printing that sky with much greater contrast and more ominous darkness. You've printed the score, now wring out the performance!

Very interesting image. I would try a bit more contrast to see what those clouds do. - Sean

It's tempting to increase contrast but its deceiving gentleness is full of drama as it is. If I had the camera I'd be working out how long before the storm reached me and if I'd left the car some way back whether I could reach it in time.

Or if I was with my wife and with illusional safety in numbers, I can imagine me saying to her: " This is slightly surreal looking" while staring at the scene and her, being much more practical, tugging my arm and saying:" It's time we left"

Plenty of drama for me as it is.

The fort is a difficult place to photograph well- at least for me. You've really nailed it. ditto JOVO's comments on adding just a little more drama... remember, you CAN feel all the ghosts flitting about there, even in daylight.

I really like the silvery feel to this print...I'd be kinda worried that higher contrast or a heavier printing of this image would take that feel away.
