Fort Pulaski Cannon

Taken on a weekend jaunt, one of the cannons guarding Fort Pulaski from the hordes of tourists.
Can't say it's doing a great job of that, we got in!
We did get to see two of the small artillery cannons fired just as we arrived.
Upper and lower areas burned in with PS to check the effect before I get into the darkroom

You might try burning in the left side a bit to emphasize the light coming from the muzzle end at the gun port. Perhaps just a bit of dodging along the muzzle end of the barrel would help too. Maybe a more dramatic effect emphasizing the direction of fire could be obtained. Just a suggestion...it's technically a great shot as is.
