It is a handsome shot. Had you scouted it many times before this outing? For some reason it strikes me as masculine as if no female would be in tune with the stark beauty. Thanks for sharing.

It is an area close to the city which I have shot a couple of times. The shot was not planned per se; rather, the inspiration of the view prompted it.

Thank you for your encouraging comments. These vets are most from the "Indian Wars" and "Civil War" vets. BTW, it is always interesting to read the tombstones and in fact there is a David Bowie buried there from the 1880's.
