Foret de Fountainbleau, France 2007

Another one of my new pt/pd prints.

Last November. I biked from Avon to the Franchard area of the Fontainbleau Forest with an 8x10 and a lot of extraneous weight. Almost missed last train back to Paris. Couldn't sit for two days. Plane ride home was very uncomfortable.

You better be bringing these with you on your way through this fall. I know better than to think I'm getting any real idea about the print from this scan. That said it feels like you've isolated a little mini-environment here... Made the viewer aware of this little slice of the forest and the struggles that continually take place there. And the little tree in the top right seems a sort of subtle focal point. Very nice, Rich. I'm glad you busted your ass hauling the camera for this. doc
