Beautiful scene. What do you think happened here? Did a young tree fall over and then grow upwards from there?

Thanks.That's exactly what I think happened. The tree that is on the edge of the left hand side in the photo is another branch that is growing vertically. This park has so many cool trees. I am going to have to go there another day.
