I agree that the forest is quite difficult, though you've done a fine job here...it's a nice and graphic design. I wonder if you've considered toning lightly in thiocarbamide and then selenium to warm it up a bit (as opposed to bust out sepia which I think is too much). It's helped my attempts at similar subjects I think. Anyway, well done, Shawn.
john, to me it feels almost like the small trees and smattering of leaves are dancing their way across the image - at least that's what I felt when I was there and part of what I hoped to convey.
John, the print is probably a bit warmer than the scan but I hear you. Really makes sense given the subject matter. I'm not quite ready to start learning the ins and outs of another toner but that's on my list. Either thiocarbamide, brown toner or a platinum toner I've heard about. So much yet to learn....
