Forest Rhythms #3

4x5 silver contact print

My first experience with selenium intensification of a negative. Worked great though I'm used to working with KRST at 1:50 so using it 1:1 sure was stinky!

A beauty! I've yet to try Lodima or much of contact printing - you've done it beautifully here.

It does indeed have great rhythm! Well done

you have gotten in sync with the forest rhythms with this Shawn .... and also make the case to try contact printing with Lodima ....

Thanks, fellows. I have always been in awe of the rhythms or secret language of the forests but have most often been too overwhelmed or intimidated to try and portray them through photography. Last spring I made a decision to work with them no matter how difficult. I've only come away with a few pictures but I feel they have been well worth the effort.
