A woman in wait for the procession holds up a newspaper of when Gerald Ford was appointed into office. I'm told (by Mike the Antique Store owner) she purchased the newspaper from Eastown Antiques next door to the camera store I work at (Camera Center).
I thought Ford became president after he replaced Spiro Agnew as VP, and took office when Nixon resigned. Anyway this photo is an interesting piece of Americana.
