Folk Fest veteran

A shot from the local folk festival this weekend, shot on Efke positive B&W paper.
The key to this paper seems to be to shoot only in flat even soft light (unless you want an ortho or lith film look).

Thanks, all. I was just starting to get the hang of working with this paper when I ran out! For any trying it, my observation has been that it's great for either a very contrasty/black-or-white only look OR for very flat light and/or monotone subjects. This portrait was my favorite of the whole weekend.

Really really nice! It almost has a collodion look to it. I like this a whole lot. I'm very impressed and encouraged by your efforts with this direct positive paper. Question - have you tried enlarging slides on it? What about filtration? Does that help any with the contrast?
Besides all of the technical mumbo jumbo, this is a really good portrait!
