@awty As a contortionist-in-training at circus school, she regularly finds convoluted posing, and makes it look easy. I enjoy the opportunity to photograph her efforts.

I really admire people who can shoot figure photographs like this because I give up trying years ago, mine always looked like pornography, not photography.

@benjiboy I imagine that some people may deem my efforts as pornography as well. Luckily, I'm not overly concerned. If the subject feels well-represented, and I like the photo, those are the two boxes I'm most interested in checking.

I think your picture is beautiful, your model's pose is elegant, and I'm broad-minded to the point of obscenity and beyond. I quit trying to do figure studies years ago because I had no talent for it.
