Is that a "Common" paper/process for you.?
It looks great, but i would imagine it is a bit expensive.?
Thanks! It's a time-consuming process and there's a lot of luck involved: I throw out a couple of failed attempts for every one that I like. Mostly it's exposure--I usually expose for about 6 minutes with my UV lightbox, but this neg wasn't happy until I ramped it up to 10 minutes. I've been doing kallitypes on and off for about 5 years; now that I've retired I can devote more time to it. I'm experimenting with sodium citrate vs. sodium acetate developers to get either more sepia-toned or black-toned prints. Still got a lot to learn....
But it's not prohibitively expensive. The chemicals have a pretty long shelf life and the paper isn't terribly costly.
