Minolta XG1 (seems to STILL have a light leak after replacing seals) with 58 1.4 and a 47B blue filter. I had a HORRIBLE time trying to focus through this filter - as it turns the viewfinder almost completely dark. Trying for a different look with skin tones and blues here...
Good experiment! For dark filter issues, you might try an external viewfinder.... or a rangefinder! I experimented with a UV (403) filter and that gives some pretty interesting effects. Skin comes out leathery though.I don't really see much increase in fog with blue/UV filters. Sometimes it goes the opposite way, in fact. I believe he origin of fog to Mie scattering, not Rayleigh, so a blue filter may actually reduce the fog rather than enhance it. For more fog, let me suggest a pan film, a strong ND, and longer exposures.
One fine lookng fella here!.Ever want to give him away, I'll take him for sure.... like your expirement.... a really good idea here.... keep up the inquisitive work and you'll go a long way for sure! Ansel would love it for sure! And so do I Logan
