Nice colour which suits the picture. I note the border is coloured the same way as the picture. I had assumed that an unexposed border once fixed would remain white. Does a strong solution of selenium colour borders as well? Thanks
I think this may actually be a lith and not dektol, I can't remember. But it has been my experience that even an unexposed border will show a color shift in strong selenium. I have noted this on both lith and standard prints.
Thanks for the response. It just seems strange that in the many threads on selenium I can't recall anyone warning of strong selenium colouring borders and usually on APUG you get the whole spectrum of responses. In some cases such colouring is OK or even beneficial but it is a pity that it cannot be prevented except possibly by the use of the likes of Fotomask or is it Frisket that you call it in the U.S. Clearly strong selenium is a mixed blessing
