I half expected to get a reasonable picture of this boat coming over the rip, I didn't know how good my timing was until I developed the film.
Cold winters day, with the wind direct from Antartica.
Taken a couple of winters ago.

What a neat shot, Mick. In my area, boaters don't usually get that high unless they've been drinking way too much.

Thank you for the comments, yes a tot of rum was needed when I got back home, it really was very cold, this was the only boat out and I waited for it to come in. The skipper took about three or four runs at the rip before committing.
