I think that this is the way to go with flowers in B&W. Dark and out of focus background with just enough detail in the flowers' leaves so its just not white petals that can be distinguished and yet the petals remain the main part.It might be my screen but even the petals don't seem quite as sharp as they could be. A greater sharpness would really draw the eye to them
