Flowers #3

This is very unusual.

It is cross processed EPP onto Endura paper which was also cross processed.

All of the Endura prints in this 3 part series were processed at 68 degrees in trays.

At first glance it looked like a crossproccessed e100 neg to me... wich i guess isn't far off as it was xprocessed epp (neg) printed to xprocessd endura -- pos print of the neg.

Wonderful colours and composition. And what planet was it was taken on? I don't believe this cross-processing stuff. I'm sure that's a liquid nitrogen waterfall in the background.

That is amazing. I suddenly wish ilfochrome paper didn't cost so much.
So that's essentially a colour negative. If you did put a slide in your enlarger, used a positive colour paper and cross processed it in RA-4, what would it look like?

This is essentially the same as what you ask. It is a negative image.

If you print a slide onto a positive paper, and cross process it, you would get a negative image as well.

The problem is that the positive papers are not as easy to cross process due to contrast and Ilfochrome cannot be cross processed easily due to the chemistry involved.

Thanks for the comments.

If that is a bee on one of the flowers, I presume it's cross pollinating:smile:)

Very interesting process and picture.

Mick.
