Back on Road CR2 again but this time with a triptych. This was how I first envisioned this shot, but after printing the three negative, I decided on doing an 8x20 the the first two.
Wonderful, Alex! Until I view the sliver of sky it feels almost intimate, but then it takes on the role of expansive landscape. Great near/far relationships and just a good view.
Very beautiful and well seen, Alex. I really like how the tones transition across the panels and the lines tie them all together. Each panel works on its own, but the sum is greater than the parts.
Most grateful thanks to everyone. I'll chalk this one up on the "works" category.
Mike, yes, burn season is starting early and its because of the goofy weather. Its been highly frustrating for photography too. Nice during the week, nasty, like today, on the weekends. I have not done near the amount of shooting that I wanted to.
Thanks TEX. I just got done matting and framing this one, done with 8x10 prints. I squeezed it on to 25x13 mat, trimming a half inch off each side. The final came out to 21-1/2 x 9 inches. Pretty well fills up the 25x13 frame.
