Very nice Alex. Wow, you are using one of my fav group of materials here - JC400 with Pyrocat with Neutol split dev with catechol. Awesome composition, seems like a joust is about to take place between the trees and the barn.
By the way, how are you liking the Neutol-PPPD split dev thingie?
Alex, since this was obviously shot either early or late in the day, I wonder how this would appear shot at the other extreme. Would shadows give more definition to the distant hills?
Not sure Don. This was facing West, mid-afternoon. Maybe mid-morning would put more light out there. I'm experimenting, trying to come up with a good combination of film, exposure, time of day, for this area. Sending you a PM.
A very expressive picture. I sorta loose myself in it...the apparent isolation of the trees, one dead or dying, the farmhouse, abandoned (?) or do I see - imagine - smoke from a cookstove? Wonderful.
Thanks Dr Bob and James. I think the building is more of a cattle shelter or feed barn, but in these parts, it may have a small stove and bunk room. This area was a part of the old Wild West.
