Bromoil Print. Slavich matt paper. Brush inked using litho inks: Brown, red, yellow ochre, yellow and process blue. Followed with a soak in drinking strength coffee.
Thank you, Wolfgang! I soaked the Slavich paper for around 15 minutes in room temperature water. We're in the midst of heat wave here so the water temperature was probably around 80 degrees F. The inking of this print was purposely very loose and quick. I was seeking a grainy print without lots of realistic detail. It took maybe thirty minutes to complete inking the print. I often soak the prints in coffee to add a yellowish tone to the freshly inked bromoil print.
Sure Gene, I agree with you- it works. It is great like it is, but excuse me, it is 0:30am in Germany - coffee in the morning is quite right - what do you think about a late night version - in blue like "cuda" with red wine instead coffee?
SCNR nevertheless serious.
