Great composition, and love the Monet clouds. Beautiful. selmslie, looks like my luck fishing, but, a bad day fishing is still better than a good day at work.
Beautiful tones and clouds. I love the foreground, middle ground and background aspects of this. What I found interesting about this is that you were probably trying to feature the person here and show a slice of life type thing, but what is sort of fascinating it how inviting the negative space is. I almost don't see it as a picture of the person, but instead almost an invitation to walk forward into the negative space and walk around him to get out into that area. I realize it's water but it almost looks like sand. And I'm drawn out there. A very interesting picture.
Thank you all. I asked the guy to stop as he was walking toward me. I had already set up a triangle between the clump of grass, the top of the cloud, and then down to the pier on the right. I was lucky to have planned the shot in a way that the fisherman improved by showing up! lol
Thank you Hatchetman, baachitraka, Gene, and clive. If you hope to find anything natural and majestic in Florida, it's gonna be clouds in the sky. Everything else here is as flat as the 3rd in a blues scale!
