Fisher Body 21

This print is 3 11x14 color prints, overlapped and mounted onto Sintra. The final piece is 16"x48". The actual digital photo is unfortunately low quality - it was taken while the piece was hanging in the gallery on the wall.

The image was captured with a Mamiya RZ67 onto Fuji 160c. This is the 5th floor paint spray area of an abandoned car factory in downtown Detroit.

Cool series. I look forward to seeing some more this series.

I used to pass this plant all the time as a kid. I don't remember where my mom was taking me but I do remember the cool sign outside the plant. It doesn't seem like I should be so old that this place could now look like it does

It's right on the I-75 / I-94 intersection. It has been abandoned for about 10 years I think - it must have been pretty bad to have fallen apart so much. One of the exterior walls has since collapsed and has made the building pretty unstable.
