As a kid, 50 years ago or so, I spent many a fall hunting season with my family along this creek. Thanks for bringing back the memories with this beautiful shot.

I like the complexity of this scene. Nice.
 
I'm very fond of Cypress Tree swamps and associate undergrowth. This shot is a superb example. Where is it?

MP, these two shots were both taken in South Central Florida. If you look on a map it's near a town called Palmdale. It is a very mystical place that always feels to me like going back in time. I shoot a lot of black and white there, this is the first I have attempted color on the creek and I appreciate the positive feedback.

First, this is an amazing place... and you have captured it well.

Second, I wouldn't imagine that this scene would work as well in B&W because all the tones would be too close.

Finally, does the creek really eat the fish? Kinda scary!
