Snowy Moments in the 10minutes I had before I left to catch a plane.

This is stunning. How perfect can a single button prove to be?

Regarding the TXP/T-Max Dev mix, it looks great. I've recently bought some T-Max film and tried it in Rodinal, but need to get a bottle of T-Max developer. After years of using pretty much nothing but Ilfosol S, I'm trying to think more carefully about my subject, film, developer combinations.

Of course, there are lots of options. My sons recently saw an episode of "MythBusters" where the hosts said you could develop film in orange juice, so they want to try that. Maybe we will...

great photo ...I even like how the sleeve button mimics the lens and finder ...

If I'm not mistaken, this photo is a replica of a shot of photographer Bruce Davidson by that other famous amateur Ansel Adams.

Yes, that's one of the strokes of genius that make this picture. Love it as a whole, boy, camera, background and all!

Actually Morry, I was thinking and I think Guillaume was also of the photograph of Dennis Stock (before he went on to become a Magnum photographer) by Andreas Feininger http://files.posterous.com/waynefor...928626&Signature=gkfI2ro1KTMzNimLeK5QWZrs1bE= . Though the image was not in my mind at the time, as soon as I saw the negative, I connected them.

I couldn't find the image you refer to. Do you have a link?

Hi Shangheye:
I was mistaken. The photo is of Dennis Stock, by Andreas Feininger dated 1951. It is featured on the cover of Feininger's book titled
Experimental Work published by American Photographic Book Publishing Co. Ltd. ISBN 0-8174-2116-5.
Like you I remembered the image but not the specifics until I found a copy of the book in my overstuffed bookcase.
Best regards
Morry Katz
