First RA-4 Print

My first RA-4 print -- it only took nine sheets of paper to get this right. If it is right. I'm planning a more detailed post about my first experiences in RA-4.

This is a portrait of my son (16) at the beach at Sandy Hook, New Jersey last summer (before Sandy flattened it). He's looking toward the setting sun. Photo was taken with the decidedly cheap Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim, with its 22mm plastic lens and focus fixed at infinity -- probably the last thing most people would grab for a portrait, but if the best camera is the one you have with you, well...

Well done. Colour balance-wise everything looks right to me. I like the desaturated look but I am sure this is the camera lens and nothing to do with the print. Kodak Gold from my limited experience has more vibrant colours.pentaxuser
