As mentioned, this is my first posting on this site. I've been enjoying "trolling" for a few months and would like to take an active part.
This is Carolyn, with whom I shared a "Portrait" class at the local arts council. Also, my first attempt at large format portraiture. Lighting is from a floodlight behind a diffusing screen and another smaller flood for a hair light.....Its a start!

A very good start. I just find the bottom of the frame, in the middle of her neck, rather abrupt. Either come in closer, and let the light on the 'planes' of her face be your composition, or back up, and give a little more room to the bottom and right.
