Thanks for the kind compliments. I had someone insist that this had to be a vertical and that no legitimate company would launch fireworks if it were as windy as it appears in the image. As far as I know in all of the times that I have taken fireworks I have never taken them vertically (but I could be mistaken). I frequently set-up 2 cameras on separate tripods, one loaded with the 50mm Summicron lens the other with the 60mm Macro Elmarit. As I recall this image was part of a series taken down along the water around New Haven, CT and we were getting a breeze during the firework display. From this and other outing displays I have some rather beautiful and interesting compositions in the multi burst aerials.

But if you believe the critic mentioned above, if you rotate the image counter clockwise 90 degrees, the fireworks which were at the upper left then become the lower left. The "fall" of the fireworks do not "look" correct when compared to the large burst. Additionally, the spread of the large burst now to the right does not look right to me.
