Fishermen don't seem to care about their equipment much, namely their fish-boxes, gloves, rubber-boots and oilskin-trousers. Being a yachtsman myself I can't think of a situation where I loose my oilskin-trousers and rubber-boots overbord in a gale. But what do I know about the life of fishermen? I love these small pieces of popular art much, passers by create from all this rubbish.
On the horizon you could see the surf of the Bill-Riff mentioned in an earlier post, if it were not out of focus.
I like the square format of my Rolleiflex but this time I had to crop. In the middle of the sky I caught a very small fluttering black bird, looking on the print like a squeezed on midge.
I am working with a CRT-Monitor. lately I had the chance to see my pictures on a TFT-Monitor. All pictures had a weird oversharped look. Now I am unsettled over the the right amount of sharpening the picture after descaling. I hope I got it right this time, though taken free hand the print is tack sharp.
