The front yard of the Chatham Mansion that was taken over by the Union Army during the Battle of Fredericksburg in the US Civil War. Walt Whitman and Clara Barton served here caring for the wounded during this battle.

(expired 2017) Ilford Delta 100 (box speed) and scratch-mixed D76 @ 1:1 for 12 minutes. Got 60 sheets with the camera, thought I'd try it.

Hybrid Materials & Processing
Negs were very dense. First time using Stearman SP-445 tank and I think I both over developed and over agitated. Expired film, new camera, new developing tank... pushing my luck.
Digital Post Processing Details
GIMP curves and other adjustments. Like I say, the negs are dense and contrasty.
