Nice one. In the 1960s I was a BSA man myself and preferred the big singles but Triumph twins had a cachet and look that was unique. The full bike would be even nicer. A classic bike where you could see everything reminds me of a comment that the 1950s racing driver Stirling Moss made about car racing. He said that the the day that spectators couldn't see the driver fighting with the wheel, racing lost something that sheer speed couldn't replace.
Stirling was right, cars, bikes or whatever. Racing has become too mechanical now. I always lusted after an Arial Square-Four, but was reduced to a NSU Max due to college expenses. Still enjoyed it though. Nice shot, Bill. Dark with chrome glowing.
A bit off topic now but I was allowed to sit on the only Ariel Square Four solo I have ever seen at a little show in N Yorkshire, England, a couple of years ago. It was the chunkiest brute I have ever come across. The owner said it wasn't particularly fast given its cubic capacity but that wasn't the point of ownership. Riding it was sheer joy.
