@jeffreyg I gather that is no poison ivy growing in Ireland.

This may very well be a 'Eureka' moment captured on film.

There is always a chance a North American bird was swept to Erie on storms, or hitched a ride on boating traffic, belly full of Poison Ivy fruits/seeds.

This may just be a look alike plant, but it does look like Poison Ivy from this man's chair.

A very nice photograph, but I do wish you could have used a faster shutter speed, eliminating the movement of the left view of the Fern.

IMO.

@eli griggs Thanks Eli, but I have to admit that I took this photo 3 years ago but only developed the film this week. I was in a railway cutting that had been converted into a pathway so the lighting was not great hence the slow shutter speed.

unless it grows differently in ireland, it's not poison ivy - leaf clusters to sparse... one country i know it does not grow in is vietnam, (strange, cause everything else grows there!) - at least not in the south!

whatever it is it contributes to a worthwhile picture, nice depth and tones.

@jvo Thanks jvo for your comments.
