the way you photographed and printed it
is so dreamy and cinematic. it gives me the
same feeling as some of your buildings of
japanese religious sites. you guys in canada
( and places in the american plains states like SD/ND )
have such beautiful religious ( agricultural ) buildings...

@jnanian Thanks, John! The prairies (where I'm from) is very inspirational for me. The landscape, old Ukrainian churches... even the old grain elevators. That light in that huge sky! One of these days I'll cross over the line into the Dakotas. Cheers!
Very nice image, Andrew. The dark cloud really makes the image as far as I'm concerned. The foreboding look brings to mind the fragile economics and dependence on weather of the prairie lifestyle.
I grew up in North Dakota and always found landscapes difficult. The undistinguished foreground puts your attention onto the clouds. I was always looking for foreground objects to counterpose.
